Who is Al you may ask? Al is my best bud. Known the guy for a long long time. He is one of a small group of my friends who actually still have their original cars from high school! Scary concept to many people. It has been 12 years now since those days. One thing for sure, the cars don't look as cool today. I don't think most people still have their first car. In fact, many people I talk to wish they still had their high school wheels. I am so glad I still have my Oldsmobile, and also glad Al still has his "nasty" Mopar. Al thinks all Mopars are nasty, but that is another story. His first car was a 1969 Valiant two door. We ripped it up in that thing. His next car was a Plymouth Fire Arrow. Four cylinders, but it popped off many a 5.0 Mustang and I Reek Of Cologne IROCs. But then it happened. He saw this baby for sale and just had to have it. I mean really, what better way to drive a Plymouth Valiant than with the top down. It was cool and rare. It was pure Mopar. 1965, YEAH!
Since he is my best friend I decided to give his car the full respect it deserves on my page. After all, I am a closet Mopar fan, aren't we all? I mean really, that Nash Bridges guy has one bad ass 'Cuda. So what if the show sucks. Not that I ever saw it. In addition, manhood aside, we all secretly yearn to drive a car painted in a color that sounds as stupid as "hugger orange" or "plum crazy purple". Although in the neighborhood I currently live in, most Mopars are painted "rust hole brown" and "cracked bondo off-red" Wait, I almost forgot "sucking my exhaust smoke gray/green" (had to say it)
Soon, this page will be updated with comments right from Big Al himself, until then, enjoy. New photos will come soon.

| images/valiant before.jpg | Here is the original color. Yeah, that number in the back window is fresh from Atco Raceway the night before. Al is the only guy I know who starts beating on his engine the second it is rebuilt. "You got to break it in as you drive it" |
